I think Dakota has had such an awful life up to this point and was probably tied up for most of it. She bears the scars of it physically and psychologically. She is a very lucky girl because she found someone like Lisa who was willing to love her for who she is and provide her with the stability and affection she so craves. Lisa is giving Dakota tons of exercise and lots of training and reinforcement. Dakota would definitely have been euthanized had she not been rescued by one of our vet techs from the California SPCA. She now has a new life with a very bright and promising future.
